  Best fish and chips I had in years. Fish tastes very fresh with crisp batter perhaps a tinge too thick for me but thats the style and what many like. Its still crispy on the outside and moist and delicious flakey on the inside. The chips are also a highlight as they are thick and taste fresh, no small or burned turds.10/10 on the fish and chips. Came back for a burger and poutine next day. The burger was fairly tasty homemade patty, maybe a little too thin for the nice bun and toppings. Slightly dry but again notning too noticeable. My bun was slightly burned on the edges but not enough to get another one. The poutine was awesome with very generous portions of fries gravy and curds. 8/10 on the burger and poutine. Cant wait to stop by here another time to try the other stuff.

  Went to Ivan's for breakfast while I'm North Bay for a weekend. Giving 4* because the price and value is quite exceptional! We had eggs Benedicts for less than $10 and a 2-egg breakfast for something like $6. No doubt this is the cheapest restaurant option around. Taste was okay. Would probably not go back but wasn't bad. Just a greasy diner-type breakfast that you can easily replicate at home.
  I would suggest if you're looking for a cheap option and not wanting to cook at home.
